JD Cordlé is professional blues guitarist with 35 years experience who has played live all over Colorado. He plays everything from old school blues to bluesy originals and everything in between like Dylan, Beatles, U2, and Jimmy Hendrix. Cris Zambrano started playing guitar when he was a child and has worked diligently to have the chops he has acquired over the last 40 years and is one of the best damn songwriter professionals you'll ever put your ear to. He was awarded singer/songwriter of the year by swallow hill music association in 1996.

Our musicians are jazz-trained, holding music degrees from institutions such as Williams and Amherst College. They have performed with Grammy award winning artists like Bryce Dessner of The National and Room Full of Teeth. In addition to being a multicultural group with a South American drummer and Central American guitarist and bass player, my musicians have been playing in latin ensembles for several years. These include Cuban salsa and Brazilian samba ensembles which have translated to their repertoire: a healthy mix of latin and neo-soul infused jazz standards, latin originals, and modern takes on popular tunes

Laurie & Lorrie each have a long rich musical history. Billboard Magazine award recipient Laurie Dameron passed the first round of “America's Got Talent” in 2013 and has played all over Colorado. Lorrie Baum, now on bass & vocals, played to sell-out crowds throughout Germany, Austria, & Switzerland in earlier days before teaching music in Colorado. For the last two years they have been duo performing folk, pop, rock, country, blues and jazz, and originals!

Harvest Celebration with Community Fruit Rescue
Embrace the spirit of the season with Community Fruit Rescue as we gather to celebrate a bountiful harvest and prepare for an even more fruitful year ahead! Join us as we celebrate our successes and the people who made this harvest season possible: CFR’s tree stewards, harvest leader volunteers, volunteer pickers, fruit recipient sites, our partners, and more.
Delicious food and beverages: Sample BOCO Cider’s delicious libations (including “Boulder Bushel” hard cider with fruit from CFR harvests!) and pair those with some light appetizer foods
Cider pressing: Take a turn grinding rescued fruit from Boulder’s backyards and pressing it into delicious apple cider. The cider press will be running.
Fun for all ages: Bring your family and participate in some of our apple-themed games and activities, like Apples to Apples, apples-themed mad libs, Ten Apples Up On Top, Giant Connect Four, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and more!
Rescued Fruit Store: Take home CFR’s fruit preserves, made from the fruit rescued at our local harvests (available with a suggested donation).
