Historic delta blues, country blues, and folk blues - the Felonius Smith Duo performs prewar blues music at its most authentic. With slide-resonator guitar and harmonica, Felonius Smith and Steve Sheldon takes us back to a time when original bluesmen were pioneering a new style of music. The group has been performing at festivals and nightspots along the Front Range for 17 years, sharing the stage with Koko Taylor, the Subdudes, and David Bromberg. Felonius Smith sings lead and plays the National slide guitar and Steve Sheldon wails on the harmonica. Take a musical trip back in time nearly 100 years - to a river bank in southern Mississippi for a generous serving of American blues tradition.
