John Shepherd is pursuing his dream of performing folk and Americana music around his hometown of Boulder, Colorado.  Occasionally playing with some of the area’s premier acoustic artists, Shepherd combines a rich fingerstyle guitar technique with intimate vocal deliveries.  Heavily influenced by ’60s and ‘70s acoustic artists, his diverse catalog includes covers of singer/songwriters of the last 50 years along with originals that tell universal tales of life with observations and perspectives that turn the mundane into the mystical.
