Embrace the spirit of the season with Community Fruit Rescue as we gather to celebrate a bountiful harvest and prepare for an even more fruitful year ahead! Join us as we celebrate our successes and the people who made this harvest season possible: CFR’s tree stewards, harvest leader volunteers, volunteer pickers, fruit recipient sites, our partners, and more.
Delicious food and beverages: Sample BOCO Cider’s delicious libations (including this year’s “Boulder Bushel” hard cider with fruit from CFR harvests!) and pair those with some light appetizer foods
Cider pressing: Take a turn grinding rescued fruit from Boulder’s backyards and pressing it into delicious apple cider. The cider press will be running from 1-3pm!
Fun for all ages: Bring your family and participate in some of our apple-themed games and activities, like Apples to Apples, apples-themed mad libs, Ten Apples Up On Top, Giant Connect Four, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and more!
Rescued Fruit Store: Take home CFR’s fruit preserves, made from the fruit rescued at our local harvests (available with a suggested donation).
Listen and learn: We’ll share an update on our 2023 season, introduce some of the folks who made everything possible, and loop you into our plans for the future.
