As a member of Boulder’s quirky Martian Acres Band, Dennis Wanebo shared in two John Lennon International Songwriting Awards, as well as a nationwide OurStage Songwriting Competition. Dennis has since moved in the direction of more intimate settings: solo work and acoustic duets. He has two solo albums out, both of which created a significant buzz critically. Of his 2012 album (Running on Gravity), a national reviewer concluded with the comment: “At times, one hears a classic like Graceland in this work.”  In 2018, Dennis’s second album (The Stranger) was released—again to very warm reception, most recently in the industry-respected Creative Culture Journal.
